I purchased this item in Feb, and have been using it consistently since then. I'm on my computer almost 24/7 so this combo has gotten a lot of use. I love the mouse, but the keyboard... After a week or so of getting it, some of the keys started sticking. While annoying, it wasn't that big of a deal, and it was only one or two keys that I didn't use that often so no big deal. Then the shift key started sticking, which is a huge annoyance. Yesterday, the backspace key stopped working. I've tried popping the key off and it's touchy to respond just to my finger, and when I put the key back on, nothing. Other times, the keyboard will stop responding completely for no apparent reason- reducing me to a monkey smashing keys futilely on the keyboard to force it to recognize it again. I'm using it at close range to my computer, so I can only imagine what a longer range would do to this. I could live with the sticking shift key, but no backspace is the death of this keyboard for me, after not even one year of use. So, long story short, don't waste your money. I only gave it a 2-star rating because the mouse is so good and I plan on continuing to use it with the new keyboard I'll buy.
